A Christmas Miracle
Dear Friend,
Recently, I had the privilege of witnessing a bit of Maranatha history take place in Cuba.
Crews begin demolition of the Cardenas Adventist Church in Cuba to start work on a new temple.
And if you’ve prayed for or given to Maranatha, you were part of making history.
You may have read a letter from me about the Cardenas Seventh-day Adventist Church in Cuba. This is a congregation that has been in need of a larger temple ever since we started work in Cuba. But challenges with various permits have delayed this project for more than 20 years.
In October everyone’s prayers were answered as we began the foundation for a new church building! A few weeks later, I headed over to Cardenas and watched as crews began demolition of the old church.
Digging for a foundation is one thing. But watching a tractor tear down a structure that represents years of prayer—that was powerful.
It was a powerful moment for everyone watching. For the church members who believed God would provide. For the neighbors who said He wouldn’t. It was a blessed moment for Maranatha.
Everything is possible if only you have faith.
Faith is what runs Maranatha. Faith is what builds all the churches and schools, and digs those wells.
Faith that you will be inspired to give so that we can continue this mission to provide places of worship.
As a non-profit organization, we rely on your donations. There is no back-up plan for Maranatha, and we need your prayers and financial support.
If you haven’t already, please consider making a donation to our continued effort to provide urgently needed buildings—places where people can worship and learn about our Creator God. You still have time to make a tax-deductible gift for 2015.
Every dollar counts in helping Maranatha to provide urgently needed buildings around the world. In faith,
Don Noble President
P.S. Remember, you must give by December 31 in order to receive a tax-deduction for 2015. Thank you!
