See Where We Work
*In 2020, Maranatha’s volunteer efforts were impacted by the COVID-19 virus. After an active start to the year, all projects were postponed or cancelled for nearly three months. Projects started up again in June in more remote parts of the United States. Volunteers did not go overseas for projects until December 2020, when a small group headed to Côte d’Ivoire.
All construction activity, among our local crews, also came to a temporary halt until some of our teams received permission to resume the work by sheltering in place at construction sites around the world.
Maranatha's Work Around the World
Since 1969, Maranatha has worked in 88 countries and regions on varying levels. From a single project in Curacao to repeat visits to the Dominican Republic, Maranatha’s reach is wide and growing as we continue to receive requests for assistance.
