Forward in Faith: 2020 Year End Giving
In the face of seemingly insurmountable challenges this year, you have helped to keep Maranatha’s mission moving forward through your prayers and donations.
Now, we’re asking if you’ll help with that last push in 2020–Year End Giving. This is our most important fundraising effort of the year, as a significant portion of the budget comes from these gifts. So far, your generosity has allowed Maranatha to keep building churches, schools and water wells during these difficult times! As a result, we’ve drilled more than 400 wells and constructed nearly 200 churches in 2020. We’ve also continued work on several school campuses in Côte d’Ivoire, India, Kenya, Peru, and Zambia.
There is still more work to be done and we need your help. Please make a gift to help the mission finish strong in 2020! Make a tax-deductible donation today!

Story: Opening a Path for Maranatha
This has been a challenging nine months for everyone, with many hurdles thrown at us all–including Maranatha. But a story from a remote village in Kenya illustrates the year we’ve had in missions, and how faith can push us through the toughest barriers.
The village of Kamikau is located in a region of Kenya called Ukambani. Here, the weather is dreadfully hot and water is hard to find. Women often have to walk for miles to find water. There are stories of women camping out at dried river beds so they can dig a hole in the night, then wait for water to seep up by morning. In Kamikau, the need for clean water is dire.
This year, Maranatha traveled to the region in hopes of providing a well for Kamikau. But on our way, we came upon a major roadblock. The road to the village was too narrow and overgrown with brush and trees. There wasn’t nearly enough clearance for the drilling rig and trucks to pass through.
The problem seemed too big to overcome. But the people of Kamikau began pushing forward in faith that God would open a door. The local Seventh-day Adventist community gathered to pull up the brush, move rocks, and chop down trees. For eight days, they pushed against the impossible, until they opened a path for the mission.
Not too long after, the trucks and rig drove into Kamikau, and Maranatha hit water!
When faced with what seemed impossible, the people of Kamikau pushed forward in faith because people like you pushed too–by giving to the mission.
This year, against all odds, Maranatha has continued building churches, schools, and water wells around the world–thanks to donations from people like you!
But for every community that has received a church, school, or well, there are plenty more that need your help.
As this unusual year comes to a close, will you make a Year-End gift to ensure that the work of Maranatha reaches everyone in need?
Please make a tax-deductible donation to Maranatha, and it will go toward the work of sharing the Gospel through construction. Your gift will help to provide thousands of people with a church, a school classroom, fresh water. Your generosity will provide hope! Please give to the mission today!
