Overview

Camp Kulaqua is in High Springs, Florida, and is one of our many efforts based in North America. Each year, Maranatha works with organizations in the United States and Canada to provide volunteer labor for various construction or renovation projects.

Volunteers on this project will help with repairs and construction on the boardwalk and amphitheater, upgrades to the sound booth, and replacing handrails on cabins.

VIEW ACCOMMODATION DETAILS

Volunteers who request housing will stay in Camp Kulaqua rustic cabins. Volunteers will need to provide their own pillows, twin bed linens, and towels to use during the project. There are also 10 RV spaces that have water and electric hookups available for those wishing to bring their RVs. Meals will be provided by the camp cafeteria.

Travel Information

If you are planning on flying to the project, the closest airport is Gainesville Regional Airport (GNV). This is approximately 25 miles from the camp site.

Please book flights that come in before 6 pm on the arrival date. If you need to fly in later than 6 pm or outside of the arrival and departure dates, please check with the Maranatha office to confirm that your travel plans can be accommodated.
