Overview
The Pacific Union College (CA) Project is one of our many North American efforts. Each year, Maranatha works with organizations in the United States and Canada to provide volunteer labor for various construction or renovation projects.
Pacific Union College (PUC) is part of the Adventist Association of Colleges and Universities, which includes 12 other Adventist institutions across North America. For over 140 years, PUC has prepared students to "Learn with Purpose, Rise in Faith, Serve with Love" as it provides the advantages of a larger university with the added benefits of a Christian community. The campus sits on 1,800 acres, and volunteers on this project will renovate common areas and 48 rooms in McReynolds Hall, a women's residence hall at Pacific Union College.
This year's effort at PUC includes tearing out obsolete desks from rooms, painting rooms, installing vinyl planks (LVT), and replacing carpet, shades, and lights in rooms. Volunteers will also replace tile in select bathrooms and carpet in some common areas and hallways.

Flight Details
If you are planning on flying to the project, the closest airport is Sacramento International (SMF). This is approximately 80 miles from the school.
Please book flights that come in before 6 pm on the arrival date. If you need to fly in later than 6 pm or outside of the arrival and departure dates, please check with the Maranatha office to confirm that your travel plans can be accommodated.

What's Included
Participants are responsible for their own travel expenses to and from the project.
Three meals a day, accident insurance, and local housing are free in exchange for your volunteer labor.
