2026 Mission: Maranatha

On September 19, 2026, join us in Sacramento, California, for our annual convention, Mission: Maranatha. You’ll be inspired by volunteer testimonies, stories from the mission field, and updates from Seventh-day Adventist Church leaders around the globe.ranatha spreads the gospel throughout the world as it builds people through the construction of urgently needed buildings.

The Aeolians of Oakwood University

Founded in 1946, The Aeolians is an award-winning choir based at Oakwood University in Huntsville, Alabama. Over the years, this group has performed in more than 200 concerts around the world, and participated in multiple international choral competitions, including at the Choir of the World in Llongollen, Wales, where they won the prestigious Luciano Pavarotti trophy, and numerous HBCU (Historically Black Colleges and Universities) choral contests in the United States.


The Aeolians performances present a repertoire of choral music, which ranges from the Baroque era to the 21st century, including Negro spirituals and gospel music. The choir is directed by Jeremy Sovoy Jordan.


All activities are free of charge with your registration, including Sabbath lunch.

If you can’t make it in person, the event will be broadcast live, starting at 10 a.m., on Hope Channel and 3ABN, and will be streamed live at watch.maranatha.org, Facebook, and YouTube. It will also be available on our app, “The Maranatha Channel,” for Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Apple, and Android devices.

Morning Program
The live broadcast program begins, featuring mission stories from around the world. With music from The Aeolians, church leadership reports, and volunteer testimonies.
Children’s Program, ages 4-10, begins. (Please remember to pick up your kids at 12:30 p.m.)

Friday, September 18 – 3:00-4:30 p.m.
The day before the convention, join us for a simple overview of estate planning and charitable giving. This free session is for anyone who wants to better understand their options and plan for the future. Learn basic ways to protect your assets, provide for loved ones, and support the causes that matter to you. Sign up at checkout of registration.
