Overview

After five years and a half of working at the Kajiado Adventist School and Rescue Center, Maranatha is finished. It is a beautiful new campus, and it is time to dedicate and celebrate, and YOU are invited.

The dedication event will be held on Thursday, July 11, 2024, in the morning. There is not a project in Kenya surrounding this event. If you are interested in attending, please contact Karen Godfrey at kgodfrey@maranatha.org. Costs will depend on how long you stay and your activities while there.

Travel Information

Volunteers will purchase their own plane tickets to and from Nairobi, Kenya. The dates posted are the arrival and departure dates. You may need to leave home a day or two before the advertised start date to arrive on the correct date. Maranatha representatives will meet volunteers upon arrival in Nairobi.

Please wait for confirmation before purchasing your airfare. Booking outside the advertised flight windows could result in additional fees and missed portions of the project.

Excursions
David Sheldrick Nairobi Nursery

Optional Day Trip – Join the orphaned elephants at their midday mud bath and milk feed at our orphanage in Nairobi National Park. Needs to be arranged one day in advance.
