Overview

Due to the nature of this event, we are only accepting individuals who are 18+ years of age with legal status in the United States or Canada. A background check will be required, complimentary of the Camporee and for those who able to stay for the full length of time.

The 2024 “Believe The Promise” International Pathfinder Camporee in Gillette (WY) is one of our many efforts based in North America. Each year, Maranatha works with organizations in the United States and Canada to provide volunteer labor for various construction or renovation projects.

You can be part of one of the most exciting youth events in the world! Every five years, 50,000 Pathfinders from nearly 100 countries gather to play, share, learn, and worship together.

Maranatha volunteers on this project will help with logistics, and setup and teardown of structures for this event. We are seeking 75 volunteers who can arrive before the Camporee and stay beyond the event to help with these projects. YOU MUST HAVE YOUR OWN RV or BRING YOUR OWN TENT. There are 25 RV spaces with full hookups. There are no other housing options. You must be able to stay for the entire duration of the project, July 29 – August 14, 2024. We will not be able to accommodate late arrivals or early departures.

We can use contractors, plumbers, and electricians, as well as nurses to help with the nursing station. Volunteer helpers will also sew costumes for the evening programs, assist in the kitchen, and provide security during the evenings.
