What's Included

Overview

Each year, Maranatha works with organizations in the United States and Canada to provide volunteer labor for various construction or renovation projects. This year, Maranatha volunteers will assist Milo Adventist Academy with repair work for this campus originally built in the 1950’s.

Volunteers will help with the finishes of a cabin, paint the music building and cafeteria building, replace windows, doors, siding and repaint Girls’ Dean residence.

Project Stats: 642 vol.work days*7hrs*$30hr=$134,820.
Volunteers helped with the girls dean’s house, the girls dorms, junior camp cabins and junior camp lodge, the boys dorm, the horse barn, the church and landscaping. For a detailed list of what was done in each area, please see project stats report in shared drive.

Travel Information

If you are planning on flying to the project, the closest airport is Rogue Valley International in Medford, Oregon (MFR). This is approximately 60 minutes from the school.

Please book flights that come in before 6 pm on the arrival date. If you need to fly in later, please check with the Maranatha office to confirm that your arrival time can be accommodated. If you will be flying outside of the arrival and departure date, please check with the Maranatha office to confirm your dates can be accommodated as well.
