Young Adult Project 2022
Overview
Maranatha’s Young Adult Project is designed for all young adults ages 18-35*. Join with like minded Young Adult volunteers from all over North America as we work at Milo Adventist Academy.
This boarding school campus was originally built in the 1950’s and is located in the beautiful mountains of southern Oregon. The campus has seen thousands of students pass through its dorms and facilities and the annual maintenance of the 400-acres property is a lot for a small staff to manage. In 2015, Milo Adventist Academy reached out to Maranatha to help with various renovation projects on campus and Maranatha has sent volunteers nearly every year since. This year will be the first year Maranatha’s Young Adult Project has been held at Milo and the school is looking forward to getting a lot done with energetic young adults!
Maranatha is collaborating with F5 Challenge to create this experience for young adults. F5 Challenge is a community of younger adults, Adventist and non-Adventist, who seek to live active, connected, and faith-filled lives. F5 leaders will be involved in the work week itself by helping to lead the worship experiences and fun evening activities. Immediately following the Maranatha event, volunteers are encouraged to join F5 for a two-day rock climbing and hiking event at Smith Rock State Park. More details and registration for the F5 event available at F5Challenge.org.
*Please note this project is only open to Young Adults. Volunteers outside of this age range who would like to serve at Milo can enquire about our Open Team Project June 7-21, 2022.
