Overview

Camp Frenda is one of our many efforts based in North America. Each year, Maranatha works with organizations in the United States and Canada to provide volunteer labor for various construction or renovation projects. On this project, Camp Frenda, a Christian camp that is owned and operated by the Seventh-day Adventist Church, is in need of volunteers who will help construct a new house and reinforce the foundation of an existing structure as well as help with other general maintenance. There is a lot to be accomplished, and Maranatha volunteers will be a huge blessing to this camp facility. Please bring your painting tools, chainsaws and wood cutting tools.

VIEW ACCOMMODATION DETAILS

Volunteers will be staying in two-person chalets at Camp Frenda. Each room is equipped with a bathroom. Please plan on bringing your own bed linens and towels.

Travel Information

If you are planning on flying to the project, the closest airport is in Toronto Pearson (YYZ). This is approximately a 2 hour drive to and from the camp.

Please book flights that come in before 6 pm on the arrival date. If you need to fly in later, please check with the Maranatha office to confirm that your arrival time can be accommodated. If you are flying to the project outside of the arrival and departure date, please check with the office to be sure you can be accommodated or you may be responsible for your own transportation. Please send your itinerary to volunteer@maranatha.org so pick up arrangements can be made.
