Bolivia Project

During the project, volunteers will stay at the Hotel Llave, about ten minutes from the Entre Rios School. The hotel is basic, between a 1- and 2-star facility, depending on how you rate hotels. We chose this hotel because it’s safe, clean, and adequate for our group. It will most likely be a lower standard than where you currently reside.

The hotel has basic rooms with air conditioning and hot water. Bedding and towels are provided; although washcloths are not commonly provided in Bolivia, so you may want to bring your own. There is a WiFi connection in the reception area of the hotel, but not in the rooms, and the connection will be slower than what you might have at home. You should be able to send an email, but you probably won’t be able to video chat or stream anything.

We will rent out the top floor of the hotel where we’ll create a makeshift kitchen. We’ll also meet here for meals and worships. Volunteers will need to be mobile enough to climb several flights of stairs each day.

Volunteers should plan on staying in double or triple occupancy rooms with a roommate. If you would like to room with someone in particular, please let us know before the final deadline for the project. There may be some single occupancy rooms available for an extra cost.
