Union College (NE) Project

What's Included
Overview
The Union College (NE) Project is one of our many efforts based in North America. Each year, Maranatha works with organizations in the United States and Canada to provide volunteer labor for various construction or renovation projects. Volunteers are needed to help renovate the Women’s dorm rooms. This will consist of building new cabinets, furniture, painting, flooring, plumbing and lighting. All skills needed, as well as helpers!
Please consider joining us for one, two or all three weeks!
Completed:
We demoed and completely renovated 32 dorm rooms in Rees Hall, the women’s residence hall. This also included building all the cabinetry – 64 desks, 64 book cases, and 64 – four drawer cabinets. It also involved painting, flooring, electrical, and carpentry work.
Volunteers also cleaned the chapel and several halls in the women’s dorms (plural as there is another smaller dorm area in another main building), and participated in landscaping – mulching many flower beds and tearing out broken sidewalks, putting in gravel for the new sidewalks to be poured.
