Mills Spring Ranch (WY) Project
What's Included
Overview
Mills Spring Ranch Open Team is one of our many efforts based in North America. Each year, Maranatha works with organizations in the United States and Canada to provide volunteer labor for various construction or renovation projects. Mills Spring Ranch is owned and operated by the Rocky Mountain Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. The camp is located on top of beautiful Casper Mountain. With approximately 200 acres of wilderness forest and meadows adjacent to the camp, there is plenty of room to explore. On this project, Volunteers are needed to help with camp renovations that include carpentry, plumbing, painting and general maintenance.
Volunteers completed the following in the cabins: drywalling, taped and mudding ceilings, primed and painted, trim out the ceiling. Put in new flooring on two decks, protico added to auditorium building, laid 3 floors, walls painted in 2 cabins, built 12 window boxes, framed 7 windows outside, put in 2 handicap toilets, painted ladies bathroom. All new plumbing in women’s and men’s shower house. New water line to kitchen sink, moved hot water heater and fixed leak under sink in women’s bathroom, fixed 2 outside faucets. Electrical work in maintenance shop, new dusk to dawn light by kithen, fixed spot light on auditorium.
