Laurel Lake Camp (PA) Project

Overview

Laurel Lake Camp and Retreat offers a variety of summer camp programs for kids ages 8 to 17. Their mission is “to inspire, because of the love of Jesus, a desire to be passionate about your spirituality, thoughtful of the world around you
and serious about having fun.” This can sometimes be difficult to accomplish when the facility is in need of many (minor and major) repairs. Laurel Lake Camp is requesting Maranatha’s assistance with pool repairs, tiling work, painting and carpenter work in the lodge, help with restriping the gym floor, sewing and putting up new curtains in the cabins, as well as many other camp repairs. Please consider joining Maranatha and helping this camp!

Main project was the olympic size swimming pool. New coping all around pool, replaced tiles along upper side of pool, acid washed and then rinsed. Taped off tiles and then painted the pool.

Painted 3 rooms in Baker Lodge, new siding on end of Baker Lodge. Moved in new furniture into 4 cottages, girls cabin and hotel. Also completed landscaping also sewed new aprons for the kitchen,
