Overview

Camp Whitesand is located 30 minutes west of Yorkton, Saskatchewan, along the beautiful Whitesand River and is surrounded by a natural forest. The natural surroundings provide over 12km of trails used for horseback riding and outdoor activities. The river is a great place for water sports, canoeing, and swimming.
Camp Whitesand is requesting assistance in building a new structure for their craft building that burned down a couple of years ago. Volunteers will be framing as well as helping with other renovations needed on camp: cutting trees, tiling a kitchen, pouring a cement pad, mudding and taping cabins, and roofing.

Built 3326 sq ft craft building, painted interior cafeteria building, landscaped around cafeteria building, ceiling repairs, painted fence (100), replaced fence boards, cut down dead trees, pressure washed cabin exteriors and cleaned the camp store building.
