Overview

Volunteers will be going to the Dominican Republic to refurbish one of the churches built on Ultimate Workout 13 in 2003. Churches in the Dominican Republic experience regular use, and the constant sun and rain showers create wear and tear on the buildings. Volunteers will paint the interior and exterior of the Villa Guerrero church as well as the front wall and porch that were added later by the congregation. In addition, volunteers will work at a nearby church called Majacua where they will construct a new bathroom as well as paint the exterior of the church. The group will also conduct children’s ministry programs and evangelistic meetings during their time in the community.

This project is geared towards volunteers who have a previous connection with the Ultimate Workout through personal experience or through the experience of a friend or loved one. There will be special times to reflect on UW memories and experiences as well as share how the Ultimate Workout impacted their lives. This project is open to all those willing to share in these memories and have a willing heart for service.
