Join Maranatha in the fascinating country of Kenya! There is a great need for churches and school in this eastern African country, and local church leadership have requested Maranatha’s assistance.
Volunteers on this project will work at Kiirua Seventh-day Adventist School. There are 132 students attending the elementary and secondary school, but they do not have a proper cafeteria or kitchen for the students. Maranatha volunteers have been working at Kiirua over the last year to build two new dormitories and bath houses for the students. Volunteers on this project will complete the final stage of work with the new kitchen and dining hall completed with brick masonry construction.
Meru is a relatively poor area and would be greatly impacted by outreach activities, such as children’s programs and health education. If we have enough volunteers, we would like to offer these programs to the community. If you are interested in leading or helping to lead these activities, please contact Maranatha. The project also includes a safari in the world famous Masai Mara National Park.Scope
