Overview

The Andrews University (MI) Project is one of our many efforts based in North America. Each year, Maranatha works with organizations in the United States and Canada to provide volunteer labor for various construction or renovation projects.

Founded in 1874, Andrews University is home to the Adventist Theological Seminary and offers a wide variety of undergraduate and graduate degrees. As one of the most culturally diverse universities in the nation, Andrews attracts students from across the globe, encouraging strong moral principles and a close relationship with God. They believe in a holistic approach to life that balances body, mind, and spirit in such a way that students are fully prepared to serve the world when they finish their studies.

Maranatha volunteers on this project will help with campus renovations, focusing on the undergraduate women’s dormitory, Lamson Hall, where we will focus on updating the bathroom suites. This will include tile work, plumbing and the installation of new vanities. We will also update dorm rooms with paint, new carpet, and desks.

VIEW ACCOMMODATION DETAILS

Volunteers will stay in the dorm guest rooms. Volunteers will need to bring their own bedding and towels to use during the project. On campus RV sites with full hook-ups are available for those wanting to bring their RVs.

Travel Information

If you are planning on flying to the project, the closest airport is South Bend International, Indiana (airport code SBN). This is approximately 25 miles to the site.

Please book flights that come in before 6 pm on the arrival date. If you need to fly in later, please check with the Marnatha office to confirm that your arrival time can be accommodated.
