In Memory of Frank Godfrey

Story
Merle Franklin Godfrey Jr. went on his first Maranatha trip in 2002 to India. He was hooked on service and ultimately went on many more Maranatha trips in countries like the Dominican Republic, Peru, Chile, Zambia, and Kenya. His last project was in Kenya during the summer of 2023. He loved the water well program and witnessed firsthand the impact a clean source of water can make in a community. He is pictured with his son, Robert, at the Lenchani water well in Kenya in 2023.
We invite you to help us continue Frank’s legacy of service by donating to the construction of a water well in his honor. It will serve as a reminder of the selfless love he shared with others so freely. As its water sustains a community in need, it will also preserve the memory of a man passionate about mission work and filled with Christlike love.
