Overview
The Upper Columbia Academy (WA) Project is one of our many efforts based in North America. Each year, Maranatha works with organizations in the United States and Canada to provide volunteer labor for various construction or renovation projects.
Upper Columbia Academy is seeking assistance in remodeling their women’s dormitory. The dorm was built in the 1960’s and is in need of a full remodel.
Volunteers will assist with cosmetic and functional updates that include pulling up old carpeting, painting interior walls, and making repairs to cupboards, desks, and drawers.
Project Stats report: 515 vol.days*7hrs*$30=$108,150.
Renovated Girls Dorm, 48 rooms and hallways, offices and front office.

Pulled up carpet; removed old cabinetry and closets, Broke them down, pulled nails and removed debris from premises; removed lights, cleaned lenses ;
reproved and replaced smoke detectors; repaired sheetrock and textured walls + ceilings; painted walls with primer/stain blocker and painted walls are ceiling, door jams in replaced heater covers
