Overview

Each year, Maranatha works with organizations in the United States and Canada to provide volunteer labor for various construction or renovation projects. This year, Maranatha Volunteers will assist Milo Adventist Academy with repair work for the campus which was originally built in the 50’s.

Renovations will include replacing oval fascia and painting, installing double fire doors and handrails in cafeteria stairway, rebuild oval roof “ti-ins” on the church and cafe, paint 3 staff houses, along with several other much needed upgrades in the cafeteria and lodge.

Faculty house renovations: painted interior, painted 3/4 exterior, installed interior doors and baseboards, installed cabinets in kitchen and baths.
Finished the jnior camp cabins which we have been working on for years. Sealed interior cedar walls and doors, painted exterior railings.
Gardening – trimmed all rose bushes, planted garden, weeded.
Handrail in cafeteria – design, formed, installed, finished
Oval walkway – removed rotted boards, installed new backing, hardiplank, soffet, painted newly installed material, finished about 3/4 of the oval repair.

Scope
