What's Included

Overview

Big Lake Youth Camp has served as an outdoor sanctuary for summer campers and retreats for the last 54 years. However, their location in Sisters, Oregon means harsh winters, which leads to severe tolls on several buildings which are now in need of repairs and updates. On this project volunteers will renovate a cabin that is located on the Pacific Crest Trail, which passes through their property. The group will install walls, bathroom partitions, and cabinetry. In addition to the Pacific Crest Trail cabin, the group will also build two new 15-bed cabins, complete landscaping projects to preserve the forest floor, and widen the hallway in the lodge to allow flow into the cafeteria. There is lots to be accomplished, and Maranatha volunteers will be a huge blessing to this camp facility.
