December 1, 2020, is #GivingTuesday, a global day of giving. Our family is helping Maranatha to provide clean water to those who need it most by helping to raise $100,000 for water wells in Zambia.
Around the world, 785 million people lack clean water. Each day, people spend hours traveling miles in both directions to find water that is often dirty. Without water, how do you wash your hands? How do you cook, bathe, drink? What would you do?
We’re asking you to donate to our #GivingTuesday fundraiser as we take on the #NoTapTuesday Challenge! For one day, we’re not going to use any of the taps at our house. Just for that day, we’re going to collect water elsewhere, to experience just a little bit of what people go through each day. If we can survive the day, make a gift to Maranatha for clean water for Zambia, where often people must walk for miles and hours each day for water.
This #GivingTuesday, change a life through the gift of clean water.
