Multiple Group Leader Registration

Thank you for taking the time to register your group to volunteer with Maranatha Volunteers International!

We look forward to partnering with you to spread the gospel throughout the world, building people through the construction of urgently needed buildings.

This registration form is for small group leaders to reserve a space for their group. If you are an individual member of an already registered group or would like to join this trip without a group, you will need to register on a different form, provided to you by your group leader or the Maranatha office. Project Personnel and Group Size:

The group leader will communicate directly with the Maranatha office. It is helpful, and encouraged, for your group to recruit a bilingual individual in Spanish and English as well as a skilled mason; however, this is not required for your group to participate. Youth groups should include at least one adult for every four young people. Group size will be limited to a maximum of 15 people.

Participant list:

The group leader will direct all of their participants to an online registration form provided by Maranatha after confirmation of your group. Each participant will be responsible for providing Maranatha with the information in the form, a copy of their passport, airfare itinerary, and participation fee no later than one month before the project.

Parental Consent forms:

Each minor under the age of 18 is required to complete and submit Parental Consent Forms. These will be made available in the confirmation email. Contact Maranatha for more information.

Participation Fee:

A $500 deposit is required to reserve the space for your small group. The online payment link is on the next page after you submit your registration form. Each individual participant is then responsible to pay a participation fee to Maranatha. This fee includes in-country transportation, food, housing, purified water, short-term travel insurance, a Maranatha t-shirt, luggage tags, and excursion, and a Maranatha project fee going towards the logistical and construction management. The full fee must be paid one month before the trip. Each participant can pay individually, or your group can gather the funds and send one check to Maranatha with a list of the participants who paid. The group leader's individual participation fee will be discounted the amount of the initial group deposit.

Travel:

Your small group is responsible for their own travel arrangements to and from the destination airport. Please send a copy of your flight itinerary with confirmation number (or itineraries if your group purchases separate tickets) to Maranatha as soon as you have booked your flight. Do not proceed with your ticket purchases until you receive confirmation and the individual registration link from Maranatha.

Team Responsibility:

Your group will combine with several other groups under leadership coordinated by Maranatha Volunteers International. Because all groups will be living and working together on this project, it is important that all participants understand and support the mission of Maranatha. Each group is responsible for supervising their own participants and making sure they abide by all the project guidelines.
