Sixty-four volunteers are currently working to build the Esperanza Spanish Seventh-day Adventist Church in Tucson, Arizona. While some are escaping record cold winters, all are drawn to the idea of helping someone in need.
The Esperanza Spanish Church has been meeting in a much-too-small facility since 2007. Their brand new church is an answer to prayer, and the hard work of Maranatha volunteers will help make it a reality.
Leroy Kelm, from Salem, Oregon is the volunteer construction superintendent and reflects the enthusiasm of the entire group. “The Lord has given me talents, and now I have the opportunity to use those talents to help somebody else. I’m hooked!”
