Overview

The Uchee Pines Institute (AL) Project is one of our many efforts based in North America. Each year, Maranatha works with organizations in the United States and Canada to provide volunteer labor for various construction or renovation projects.

Established in 1970, Uchee Pines Institute is a non-profit, health education and wellness facility located in the countryside near Seale, Alabama, 15 miles from Columbus, Georgia. The institute sits on a 200-acre farm servicing the needs of those seeking to get well through natural remedies.

Volunteers on this project will assist with renovating the women’s dorm as well as five bathrooms. Work will include:paint, plumbing and flooring.

Travel Information

If you are planning on flying to the project, the closest airport is Hartsfield Jackson Airport (ATL). This is approximately 90 minutes from the site.

Please book flights that come in before 6 pm on the arrival date. If you need to fly in later, please check with the Maranatha office to confirm that your arrival time can be accommodated. Please send your itinerary to volunteer@maranatha.org so pick up arrangements can be made.
