What's Included

Maranatha offers at least two family projects each year that provide service opportunities for every member of your family, both young and old. This year, spend Christmas in the fascinating country of India!

There is a great need for churches and schools throughout the entire country of India, and volunteers on this project will be able to help answer prayers for the Pola Adventist School, just outside the city of Ranchi, in the state of Jharkhand. They have completely outgrown their facilities and need more classrooms to accommodate the many students that want to attend. Maranatha has agreed to build new brick classrooms, a dormitory, and a bathroom building for the Pola School. Which building exactly this group will build is still to be determined.

Depending on the number of volunteers who join and their skill sets, the group may also reach out into the surrounding community through health outreach and children’s ministry programs. Younger volunteers, 12 and under, will have a chance to join the Day Camp during the project to experience different aspects of service and receive insights into daily life in India!

At the end of the project, the group will have the opportunity to go on excursion to the neighboring country of Nepal.
