Overview

Maranatha’s annual teen project, the Ultimate Workout, is entering its 26th year, and we will once again be offering two Ultimate Workouts, one in the United States and one in the Dominican Republic! Each year, high school aged teens from around the world join the Ultimate Workout and find opportunities to grow physically, socially, and spiritually. This year we are expecting more than 150 volunteers to join together to make a difference at Golden Gate Academy in Oakland, California. Maranatha provides all project leadership; we are not currently looking for chaperones and chaperones are not required in order for a teen group to attend.

This group of teen volunteers and adult staff members volunteers will become a family as they help to renovate the campus of Golden Gate Academy in the Oakland hills. There, volunteers will paint buildings, replace windows, help with landscaping, and reach out into the community through a variety of interactive projects in correlation with the Bridges program operated by the Northern and Central California Conferences of Seventh-day Adventists. Download the information brochure for more information.

Final deadline for payment and additional forms is six weeks before the project, May 2.
